Fealy Fall Frolic

Friday was our party and chili cook off. It was a huge success! There were about 30 people here including 16 children! It looked like a toy tornado hit. There was tons of good food. This is the mom's group with Ryan, the "chili master", who is in the Coast Guard with Jason. The girl with the bowl hat is Molly with her dad Steve.

Day at the farm

Jackson & I went to the Blue Bird Gap Farm with our play group. It is designed to resemble a working farm and was a lot of fun. We saw lots of animals, enjoyed a good swing and Jackson got to spend some quality time with Molly.

Yard Saleing

Jackson & I went to a big neighborhood yard sale today and got some really great stuff. We got a Pooh camp chair, a kitchen with food, a lego wagon, booster seat and potty all for $10. I think I am more excited about my good deals than Jackson. He will learn to love the fine art of yard saleing one day.

We went to the Virginia Living Museum today with our group. Jackson saw all kinds of animals and got to spend some quality time with his lady friend Molly. Daddy left today but will be home Saturday.

Yesterday Jackson & I went on an outing with some of the moms/kids from our group. I think Jackson has a new lady friend. This is Molly. They are holding hands and passing food under the table. Jason & I also went out to dinner for our Anniversary - 2 whole years. Boy, how time flies when you are having fun!!

Gramms left this morning to head back to Wilmington. She has been here since Thursday. We had a fun weekend. We ate, shopped, played and went to a birthday party. Gramms got to meet all of Jackson's friends and their mommies. We will miss her.

Jackson & I went to the Norfolk Zoo today with the mom's group. We had a good time seeing the animals and eating lunch. Daddy is gone for a week. He will be back on Monday 10/8. Gramms is coming to visit Thursday. We are very excited.

I finished Jackson's Halloween costume. Here's a preview. Jackson and I have been chilling around the house today. Jackson and Marley have been cuddling and wrestling. Don't they look like they could get into trouble together?

Where has the month gone? We finally got our camera fixed and I got the disposable developed. So... here's what has been going on the last few weeks. Jackson got his hair cut. It was a disaster and waste of money. He was not fond of the lady or her scissors. He also got a "mountain trike" and loves it. (Almost as much as daddy loves it - Daddy is threatening to "trick it out") Jackson and I took a trip to the Bass Pro shop in Newport News and got to see the Shriner's mini cars. They were just Jackson's size. We also went to visit Gramms and I was in Bev & Adam's wedding. It was great to see everyone and the wedding was beautiful.

The camera is still out of commission but we had our family photo made today and got them on CD. Auntie had her picture taken with Jackson too. Jackson is walking like a pro and is cutting 2 more teeth. He is obsessed with "dog dogs" and had to have his picture taken with one. We have been taking pictures with a disposable camera so I will have them developed soon. I feel like I'm in the dark ages.

FYI

Our digital camera is getting fixed and we are suppose to have it back on 10/4. Sorry. I'll try other means. I feel like I am missing a limb.

Birthday Party Part III

Jackson had some of his friends over last night for his actual birthday. We all enjoyed some play time and Elmo cupcakes. I think he is glad the birthday extravaganza is over - I am. We went to visit daddy yesterday morning at the boat. In case anyone doesn't have all Jackson access all the time - he is officially walking. It's very Frankenstein-ish but it's definitely walking.

I have posted 4 times today so don't forget to scroll down. Grandma Fealy had a great party for Jackson on Saturday. All the cousins were there to help with the cake. Thank you everyone who came. The food was great and thank you for the presents. We had a great time.
