Grammz & Papa!

Grammz & Papa are here for a visit and Jackson took them to his favorite place - Blue Bird Gap Farm to "see all the animals." Then Papa took us to his favorite place - Bass Pro shop. Today we went to the park and had a nice lunch at the Marina. The weather has been beautiful.

Poop!!

It's been trying times when it comes to potty training here in the Fealy house but tonight Jackson pooped on the potty! He is enjoying his lollipop right now!

Mardi Gras Parade

Jackson & I went to his girlfriend Breanna'a house today for a Mardi Gras Parade. They made "floats" and put their animals in them to ride. They all paraded around the back yard with lots of beads on. It was very cute. Miss Medina always has great ideas! The grey beach ball is a 33 week preggers me...

Update

Jackson had an eye doctor's appointment on Friday. Everything looks good. The doctor was pleased that his farsightedness has not gotten any worse which is common in children his age. He has developed an astigmatism so he needs new glasses....again. We ordered them and they should arrive in a few days. They are Sponge Bob Square Pants this time - very exciting.

Doing work..

Today Jackson went to his buddy Sam's house while I had a massage. It was wonderful. Also, Jackson is modeling a new addition to my sewing r'epertoire. He is obsessed with "Handy Manny" and after buying him a tool belt and tool set with his Valentine $ from GG & Opah, I thought I can make that....

Fire Station Tour

We went on a Fire Station tour today with our play group. Daddy was able to come too! Jackson & his friends had a blast.

Grammz Visits

We had a great visit with Grammz this weekend. Saturday we went to the Virginia Beach Home & Flower Show. It was lots of fun. Jackson got to build a tool box at the Home Depot booth. The exhibits were interesting and they had some beautiful flowers. We also saw a stunt dog show. Saturday night Jason & I went out for a fantastic dinner. Jackson & Grammz has chicken nuggets. Mr. Wonderful got me beautiful tulips - our Valentines tradition. Grammz is home safe now and it was a wonderful weekend.

Valentine's Day Party

Jackson had his friends over this morning for a Valentine's Tea Party. There were 7 kids and they played HARD. They all decorated a bag and passed out Valentines to each other. It was very cute. He is still napping!!

New Hair Cut

Jason & Jackson went out for some man time tonight. Jackson got a real haircut and they had McDonald's for dinner. Jackson was VERY excited about his chicken nuggets. Today we went to the park and played with a bunch of friends. It was 75 and so nice to be outside. Jackson actually took a nap when we got home. Then we went to Daddy's work and Jackson delivered his Valentine treats to the crew. Tomorrow we are off to another Valentines party and then we are having our own gathering for his friends here on Friday. What a social schedule! The best part is Grammz is coming Friday too!

Potty Training...ish

We are trying some potty training in hopes that we will be complete by the time the baby comes, but Jackson has shown little to no interest. He does like to look at himself in the mirror in his Thomas the Train underwear - which stays dry for about 5 minutes. Daddy, always the multitasker, worked with Jackson on his numbers during a potty session. We are not totally discouraged because he is not even 2 1/2 yet and I have heard that sometimes boys are not ready untill closer to 3. I did a painting of my ultrasound of Sawyer. I am trying to make an effort to do everything for baby #2 that I did for Jackson. I have bought a new baby book and the makings for another belly cast.

Getting there...

I had an OB appointment today. Everything looked good. I am 29 weeks now, only 10 weeks to go. I had an ultrasound and Sawyer looks healthy. His heart rate was good as well. I am having another C-Section and it is scheduled for April 8th. He is head up with his feet under my right ribs right now, not the most comfortable position. I am getting big but am enjoying the cool weather much more than I did the heat when I was pregnant with Jackson. In the ultrasound pic you can see his head & chest. He is looking up and to the right. Looks like he will have a giant head like his brother and father.

Florida Vacation

We arrived home this afternoon from a wonderful week in Panama City Beach, Florida with Auntie Punk. Jackson was very excited to fly on an airplane. We went bowling and to Gulf World...twice. Jackson cried the first day when we left so we went back again. He had a BLAST. He touched a python & a dolphin. He got a kiss from a Sea Lion and we saw the dolphin show 3 times. We are home safe now and expecting snow in VA. Jason has been very cold all week but should be home late tomorrow.

FL here we come!!

Jackson & I are leaving tomorrow to go to Florida to visit Auntie for a week. Jackson is excited to fly on the airplane and go bowling in FL. Jason will be in DC doing security for the inauguration for 10 days. This week we went to the new play area at the mall. Jackson had a blast. Jackson & Jason also had some bonding time watching Pearl Jam on TV while Jackson played his new guitar. I think we have a future musician!

Big Boy Bed

Last night was Jackson's first night in his new big boy bed. I was a little scared but he did fantastic. He never got out and called for me this morning to come get him. I hope he stays this excited about it for a while.

New Years in WV

We spent New Years in WV with the Fealys. We got to see snow on the way over the mountain. I'm glad Jason was driving! We also went to Jackson's cousin Lexi's 4th birthday party. We also had a big family get dinner on Saturday. It was great to see everyone.
