At the Zoo

Grammz, Papa, Auntie, GG & Opah arrived Wednesday for a visit to celebrate Sawyer's birthday. We had a cookout and cupcakes on Thursday and we all made a trip to the Jacksonville Zoo on Friday. It was packed but we had a good time. The weather was perfect and Jackson had a blast. Sawyer laid back and enjoyed the ride as usual.

First Dentist Appointment

Today was Jackson's first Dentist appointment. He did so well and I was so proud. He even asked me to go wait in the waiting room! Everything looked good and we are good for another 6 months. My report was not so great. I have to get a filling - my first in a long time! Here are a few more pics from Easter morning. Jackson was relieved to see his Bunny Bait worked.

Beach Babies

Thursday and Friday afternoons we went to the beach with some friends to enjoy the perfect weather. It was 80 with a little breeze. I wish it would stay that way all summer. Jackson had a blast playing with the kids even though the water wash still pretty cold. Sawyer enjoyed watching and eating sand. Jackson & I also colored Easter eggs in anticipation of the Easter bunny.

Classroom Visit

Sawyer and I visited Jackson's class this morning for their Easter Egg Hunt. First they had Art Class, then another boy's father and I hid the eggs. The kids did a great job finding the eggs. Later they had an ice cream party and a parade. Jackson is excited about Easter and leaving out "bunny bait."

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Tuesday was Daddy's 34th birthday and he celebrated with his annual bike ride and some brownie & presents at home. We went to Longhorn's Steakhouse for dinner and Jason really enjoyed his steak. Today we had a picnic with our neighbors in the park. Jackson loves his neighbors! Sawyer had a good time watching the kids play.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

The sneaky Leprechaun that came to Jackson's school today and turned the toilet water green made a stop at our house too. He turned Jackson's milk and the rice at dinner green. Jackson even made binoculars at school to help him look for the Leprechaun but they never did find that guy.

ZOO!!

The Fealys enjoyed the warm weather this weekend and headed to the zoo. They have a new penguin exhibit that Jackson loved. Sawyer was not as impressed and was mostly upset that we interrupted his nap schedule. Today our neighbor Chris and Jason took all the kids fishing. Jackson had a blast. Sawyer and I stayed home and enjoyed the quite.

Swimming Lessons!

Jackson had his first swimming lesson yesterday and it went very well. His teacher, Ms. June, was very impressed with him. He did not want to leave the pool. We go again next Monday.

Great Visit!!

We had a great weekend with Grammz, Papa & Auntie! Jackson & Jason went fishing on Saturday. They didn't have any luck that day, but went fishing at the pond in our neighborhood on Sunday and caught lots of fish. Jackson was soooo excited. The ladies and Sawyer did a little shopping and went out for lunch. Jason & I got a date in Saturday night while the Holders watcher the boys. We miss them already.

Half Birthday

Jackson celebrated his Half birthday yesterday at school. His birthday was before the first day of school so we celebrated him turning 3 1/2. His class decorated and baked cookies and them distributed them to the teachers. He also had music class yesterday. Jackson LOVES music and art class.

Come on Spring

Farmer Jackson and Daddy were busy last weekend while I went to lunch and shopping with Rachael. They planted a container garden for the back yard. Jackson may have a future in agriculture. We also got a library card so we have taken advantage of the books of course, and also DVDs. Jackson has "resting" time in the afternoons which usually involves a movie, snack & his neighbors.
