2013!!

We left early the morning of New Years Eve for West Virginia. All the adult Fealy kids and spouses went out for a nice dinner and brought in the New Year while Grandma Fealy watched all the grandkids. This is what we found when we got home.

He came!

Christmas #2 - We got up Christmas morning to find that Santa had left a toy sack for the boys. They were beyond excited. The highlights include: a Spiderman web shooter, train track, micro charger track, camo print thermal underwear, books, games, candy and even something special for the dogs.

Cookies

Sawyer and I were busy bakers for our friends and neighbors.

Recruit Stockings

On Christmas Eve the Spouses Club visited with the 250 Coast Guard Recruits that were here for the holiday. They can not receive anything from home but were able to receive a stocking from us. The stockings were filled with items they are allowed to have - socks, lip balm, hand sanitizer, etc. and letters from local school children. Every recruit got a stocking and a hug. There were lots of tears.

Christmas Eve

I hope we have started a new tradition of going out for Hibachi on Christmas Eve. It was delicious and best of all - no clean up. We went with some friends....26 in all. It was a blast! The boys got new PJs and showed off some karate moves.

Party People

I lost count of all the parties we went to this Christmas. Jackson and Sawyer both had one in their classes. I went to an "ugly sweater" party with my friends. The boys sang at their parties. I don't sing. But I do play a mean game of beer pong.

Congress Hall

We all went to a well known and very historic hotel here in Cape May called Congress Hall for breakfast with Santa. Our friends Joined us and we all had a great time. The restaurant in the hotel is called the Blue Pig, so he made and appearance too.

oopsie.....I skipped Thanksgiving.

We hosted Thanksgiving this year. We had 7 friends over, so 11 total. It was a group effort and everyone had a great tie and ate too much!!

Congrats to my cousin Carl for graduating with honors form NCSU. I'm glad he picked a great school!

School Pictures

My sweet boys are growing so fast! So handsome.

Coast Guard Christmas Party

We had a great time this year at the Coast Guard Christmas party. Thank you to Auntie for free babysitting and to GG for my new outfit. We had a wonderful dinner with great friends and danced the night away!

Christmas #1 in Cape May

Grammz, Papa & Auntie came a few weeks before Christmas to celebrate with us here. They brought a truck load of gifts. We went to the kids Christmas party on the base where Jackson volunteered to help the magician and Papa and Sawyer made a craft. Grammz & Auntie where crushed when the boys wanted Papa or Daddy to help build the gingerbread house that would not stay together. Mom & Punk got the giggles so bad they cried. Sawyer got over loaded on Spiderman stuff and Jackson got his "cool kid" Shawn White gear.

Getting Ready

We put out the manger that has been passed through my family. Jackson is very particular about the placement of the figurines. He likes to make sure everyone has a good view of baby Jesus. Sawyer likes to look but knows he has to be very gentle. We also had our family picture taken. It was Jason's idea to have his picture taken in his uniform "to represent my fellow enlisted" since he will be switching to an officer uniform in June.
