SOCCER!!

Over the weekend Jason played in a 3 vs. 3 soccer tournament in Ponte Vedra. I think he had a great time even though his team did not do very well. He said he wants to try again in May. Jackson had a BLAST being out there with all the kids and soccer energy. I can't wait until he is old enough to play. Sawyer is in to EVERYTHING. He loves playing in the pantry while I make dinner. He makes a big mess but it keeps him happy. Today is an apsolutely beautiful day, sunny and 73. We went to the lake with our neighbors to feed the seagulls and hang out. I can't wait for summer.

Happy Valentines Day!

Yesterday we had a wonderful, leisurely Valentine's day. I made breakfast - heart shaped pancakes, bacon, fruit and a heart shaped brownie. Daddy got a mandolin and I got a massage & beautiful scarf. We did a little shopping and then the boys took me out for a nice lunch. That evening Jackson & I made pink heart shaped rice crispy treats for his play date today. We had 9 kids here and 4 mommas. They all had a blast and Jackson was a wonderful host. The picture is of the kids praying before their lunch - so cute.

Earn your keep kid...

Jackson has a new chore chart and has been working hard all week. Today he got his first allowance - $3.00. He can spend $2 and he must save 50c and donate/give 50c. His chores are feeding the dogs dinner and giving them water, making his bed, clearing his plate at dinner and putting his clothes in the laundry basket. Today we ate at PF Chang's and Jackson really likes the big horse. Sawyer has his first boo boo. He fell after pulling himself up on the desk and scraped his head. He seems unaware of the injury. We are all excited for tomorrow. Happy early Valentine's Day!

Party Time

Monday was Marley's (our dog) 5th birthday. Jackson and his neighbors made party hats and I got a left over football cake at the market to celebrate. I had the bakery draw a dog bone on it with icing. Marley and Bosco got special treats too. Today was Jackson's Valentine's Day party at school. His class baked cupcakes in ice cream cones and gave out treats. He came home with quite a haul. This evening Sawyer helped with the dishes. He is pulling up on everything and will be walking soon I'm sure.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday !!

Yesterday we all bundled up and went to watch Jason play soccer. It was a little chilly but we had a good time. Daddy's team did not win, but he got a good workout in. (Daddy is in the middle with the hat on.) Jackson & Sawyer got a little play time in at the playground and then we all came home to warm up and watch the Super Bowl. I could care less about the game, but I LOVE the commercials.

Fun Weekend

It was cold here today! Jason & the boys stayed in most of the afternoon while I did some shopping. Auntie spend the night but left today heading home for NC. I set the tent up on Friday so Jackson & Sawyer could do some camping. We have had a good time with it. Jackson took a nap in there on Friday and we have been reading books in there too. Jason, Jackson & Sawyer took a bike ride the other day and they all had a good time. Sawyer is crawling ALL OVER and is in to everything. I think we have another musician in the family!

Panama City!!

What a trip! My mom flew in to Jacksonville last Tuesday and then mom, the kids and I traveled to Panama City, FL to visit Auntie and of course, get our yearly dose of Gulf World. The drive was not bad - a lot easier with mom with us. We had a great time of course, visiting and going out to eat with Auntie's friends, Bernie and Kathy. We saw ALL of Gulf World on Thursday and then Auntie and Jackson went back on Sunday. Because of the cold temperatures, they had 1500 rescued sea turtles. Jackson saw the dolphin show 4 times!! There were very few people there, so Jackson got to be a Junior Trainer and really enjoyed it. There are more pics to come when I get the scanner to work. Sawyer is crawling and pulling up now and last night I let him try to feed himself carrots. He could use some practice.
