Home sweet New Jersey....

We are getting settled here in Cape May. We are still not in our house yet, but hopefully next week. We are in temp. housing now. We have been to the boardwalk at Wildwood and visited Liz in South Phili. Jackson was intrigued by city living. Jason got to see his first MLS soccer game. We celebrated Father's Day here. Jason got a new grill and a crab trap. We check it everyday. So far we have caught a few crabs and a good sized flounder - not sure how he got in there. Jackson started summer camp at the nature center today and loved it. We have met lots of Coast Guard families and Jackson has already made some friends. Tomorrow is Sawyer's turn when we attend Pray & Play at the chapel.

Change of Command

Senior Chief Jason Fealy took command of the Coast Guard Cutter Finback on June 16, 2011. We are so proud. Thank you to all the friends and family who came to the ceremony.

Finishing up WV

Before we left WV we visited the Game Farm with cousin Amber. Sawyer wanted to be carried the whole time and we made him to walk so he was not happy. Jackson "protected us" from all the animls with his new toy shotgun. Jackson & Sawyer also got in a little extra trampoline and pool time.

W & W part deux

Aunt Mary took us on a tour of the original Fealy home place and we visited Uncle Steve Fealy. We also visited farmer Danny's farm and the kids fed some chickens, picked strawberries and went for a tractor ride.

Wild & Wondeful

After a short stop in NJ to drop to off my car and the dogs, we were on the WV. We've been very busy in WV playing with cousins and seeing the sites. We went to Stonewall Jackson Resort to feed the fish and visit Joe Fealy's gravesite.

Traveling Fealys

We had a great time in NC visiting the Aquarium, boating, visiting with friends and going to the beach.

Catching Up

Jackson finished up the school year with a fun Luau Party at school complete with a pineappple piata and grass skirts. Then we said goodbye to our house in Florida and our wonderful neighbors and headed to NC. We stayed at a beach house at Carolina Beach with the family for 8 days. Jackson got to go fishing with Papa and Jason & I got to see some friends. Grammz & Auntie showed the boys off and GG & Opah spoiled them.

Happy Mother's Day

Today was a wonderful day! Jason made a frittata, waffles and bacon for dinner. It was delicious. The we went to church and home for some rest. Jackson & I watched a documentary on crocodiles and then daddy made an amazing Mexican dinner. I received some wonderful gifts and felt very loved an appreciated. Jackson is very excited about his new bed. We got it from a neighbor at their yard sale. Jackson says he sleeps better in it. So far, so good.

Happy Easter

The Easter bunny stopped by our house on Easter morning much to Jackson's relief. Jackson got a bow & arrow set and Sawyer got a bowling set in their Easter baskets. The both attended several egg hunts. In between stomach bugs, we went to a friend's for brunch who had a pool.

Easter Parade

The boys paraded around their school today in fancy handmade hats to celebrate Easter. Sawyer wasn't sure about walking with his class but decided to on the second pass. Jackson is wearing an alligator hat with and Easter egg in it's mouth. The were all VERY cute.

Sawyer started preschool 2 days a week at the same school Jackson goes to. He loves it but is very excited to see me at pick up time. His teacher is Ms. Eileen. Today they made the "listening ears" he is wearing in the photo. Because I am a true southern belle, I can not have enough monogramed bags. Thank you to Grammz & Auntie for my new one.
