We went camping with another family at the camp site on Dauphin Island, AL. It was such fun! We all went to the beach and the kids did a scavenger hunt. We made smores and the kids went fishing. We are going to try to go again this month.

Homework
My good little students come home from school and do their homework right away. Even Sawyer gets in on the action.
More Birthday
Daddy, Sawyer & I took cupcakes to Jackson's class for his birthday. The kids really enjoyed that! Jackson spent most of his birthday money on Legos and the rest on some new fish for his aquarium. Here are a few pics from the Explorium trip with his besties, Alex & Emily. They had some really awesome exhibits and a HUGE sand box.

7 going on 17
My baby turned 7 yesterday! He asked for legos and "Bear Grills stuff." He is also starting piano lessons so he got a full size keyboard. Auntie was here and we went out for a fun dinner at Felix's Fish Camp. Mom, Dad and Sawyer stopped by Jackson's class with cupcakes in the afternoon. I gave him the option of coming home with us or staying to ride the bus home. He decided to stay with his buds. I think he is adjusting just fine at his new school. Today we are going on a Lego shopping spree with his birthday money. Tomorrow after soccer we are going to the Gulf Shores Explorium with 2 friends and then out for hibachi and frozen yogurt per Jackson's request.
K4
Sawyer started Pre-Kindergarten at Our Savior Catholic School this week. He seems to really like it and had NO separation anxiety. This kid was ready! His teacher's name is Ms. Kathy and he really likes the playground.
Playing but not thrilled about it
Jackson does not like the heat. Period. End of discussion. His first game was pretty brutal for him. Hopefully things will get better as the weather gets cooler, but this is south Alabama. How cool is it really going to get? Jackson does a great job on the field but would rather be in the shade.

Didn't I just give birth to you?
My baby started the 2nd grade on Monday. What?? yep. 2nd grade. He wanted to ride the bus so we are letting him. The stop is the next street over so Jason and I walk him to and from the bus. The school is brand new so everyone is a new student and I had a great first impression of his teacher. He has to wear a uniform this year which he is not thrilled about. He also does not like to be hot and the bus is not air conditioned. Sounds like someone else I know. Aside from that, he seems really happy at his new school.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL
We have 3 soccer players in the house. One looks like he is going to be a Super Star! Sawyer has been on the sidelines of soccer games since birth and finally gets to play this year. He is SOOO excited and is loving it. Jackson is doing very well this year too and his age group is getting more competitive. Jason continues to pretend he is 18 again.
All settled.
Jason got hard to work on the landscaping in the back yard and I was in charge of the inside of the house. I think we did a pretty good job of making this house a home...and very fast!
Visitors
Grammz and Papa came to visit and we were very excited to have visitors! Fishing and belly rubbing were on the agenda. We also got to visit Ms. Hannah the college girl in Pensacola.
