Jackson rolled over for the first time from front to back Saturday night. Grandma Porter was watching him at the time. Mom & Dad were at the movies. I was very upset I missed it, but Jackson did it again when we got home. We had a good weekend - took the dogs to the dog park Saturday. They seem to really enjoy it. Jason fixed our stove yesterday. He is quite handy.

Nothing much exciting going on this week. Everyone seems to be feeling better thank goodness. Jason is studying hard for his board.

This week is going much better so far. Last week was a disaster. Wednesday the day care called and they thought Jackson might have the CROUP. We went to the doctor and they were right. We stayed home Thursday and took it easy over the weekend. Jason was sick with a cold too. This week everyone seems to be getting better. Jackson is still not sleeping well at night, so neither are we. Work is better this week. I feel like I am actually accomplishing something now. I was wondering what I had done going back last week. Jackson has an appointment with a pulmonary specialist 2/14 to check out why he makes those funny noises while he breathes. His pediatrician thinks it might either be reflux- he is currently taking Zantac - or something in his airway that is not fully developed. The doctor didn't seem overly concerned. The appointment is just precautionary at this point. I will keep you posted.

Yesterday was my first day back to work. It was very hard to leave Jackson. I really didn't accomplish much at work on Monday so I felt like I had made a bad decision to go back. Today was better. I got some stuff done and felt like I had earned my money. Jackson seems to like going to school. His teachers are very nice. One is my mom's neighbor and another is one of my coworker's cousin - small world. I will be very glad when Feb. 16 comes and my mom starts to keep him. I know they will both enjoy it.

Guess who loves sweet potatoes? We survived the week at the beach. It was wonderful to have the family together. We sure missed Sue. Jason & I have been "reprogramming" Jackson this week. He got accustomed to being held 24/7 by various family members. He is almost back to normal now. Thursday will be his first day in "school." I am going back to work part time. My mom will be keeping him starting in Feb.
Today was Jackson's 4 month check up. Everything looks good. He is 15 lbs. 8 ozs. and 25 3/4 inches long.
