Christmas in VA Beach

We arrived home from a fun week with the family in Virginia Beach yesterday. It was great for everyone to be together for Christmas. Jackson had a ball playing with his cousins. He got tons of new toys from Santa including a guitar, drum & Jeep power wheels. Jason is very happy with his new IPOD and I love my new cell phone & foot spa. We are only home for a few days and then we are going to WV for New Years. The Amazing Traveling Fealys strike again.

Down Time

Jason, Jackson & I are back in VA from a quick trip to NC for the weekend. We went down to visit friends and attend my Mom & Dean's annual oyster roast. It was tons of fun. Jackson had a blast playing with the kids and my parent's new chocolate lab Boomer. Jason got underway today for a week in NC. Next weekend we move in the beach house for Christmas at VA Beach. Jackson & I are laying low this week to get ready.

Santa!!

Yesterday Jackson & I went to the Christmas Party for our play group. We had lots of fun. Jackson made a craft and ate pizza & cookies. We had a cookie exchange so we came home with 2 shoe boxes full of cookies. We took most of them straight to Daddy's work. Today Jackson had his picture taken with Santa. He did really well - nothing like last year. He talked to Santa for a long time. I asked him what he told Santa he wanted for Christmas and he named all the Thomas the Trains that he already has. He should be easy to please this year.

Daddy is home!!!

Jason go home last night and we are VERY happy. Today we slept in, had french toast, went bowling and decorated the Christmas tree. It was a fun day. This week we also went to a cookie decorating party. Jackson had a good time with the kids. It was messy and the hostess was brave but the kids made some beautiful creations.

Back in VA

Jackson, Marley, Bosco, Sushi (the fish) and I made it back to VA today after 3 weeks in NC. We were sad to leave but we are excited that daddy will be coming home on Thursday. We will be trying to get back into our routine for the next few days. We had a great Thanksgiving at the beach with the family and I got a lot of Christmas shopping done. We miss everyone already.

Jackson had his Christmas pictures taken today. Auntie got in on the fun too. These are the best. Jackson wasn't as smiley as usual today but we still got some good ones. Isn't he the cutest thing? I sure think so. We leave to go to the beach house tomorrow. Jackson is very excited to see the ocean. Daddy comes home in 2 weeks!! We sure miss him.

Busy in NC

We are in NC till after Thanksgiving and are having a great time. Yesterday, Gramz, Papa, GG, Opah & I went to Tabor City to visit and see Gramz & Papa's new trailer at the farm. Jackson played football with the kids, rode a horse, a 4 wheeler & a tractor. We also had a big lunch at Dean's niece's house and made s'mores. He had a GREAT time. He passed out in the car on the way home and went to bed early. He was pooped.

Great Weekend

Gramz & Auntie are here now and we had a great weekend. I went out with some of my girlfriends Saturday night and had a wonderful birthday dinner. I can't believe I am 31! That sounds so OLD. Gramz and Auntie have been very supportive with Jackson's potty training and he loves the attention. Jason is doing well in CA and we should be finding out where we are moving next on Nov. 28. I can't wait. We don't move till June, but it will be a relief to know.

ELMO !!!!

Today Jackson & I went to see Sesame Street Live with some friends. We had a great time. The show was wonderful and Jackson was mesmerized. I don't think I have ever seen him sit still for that long.

Happy & Sad

We got up very early this morning to take Daddy to the airport. He is in CA for a 5 week Leadership School. We will miss him very much. Then Jackson & I went to our Play Group Halloween Party. Jackson had a great time dancing, playing & eating. This evening we went over to Jackson's best friend Sam's house to join them for some trick or treating. It took a few houses for him to get the hang of it, but he got it!

More Fall Fun

Friday the Fealys had the crew of CGC Seahorse over for a potluck. It was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Saturday J, J & I went to Driver Days and enjoyed some fall fun and another Hay Ride. We also did some lounging around the house. We got a load of firewood and have had the house nice and toasty. News Flash - Jackson pooped on the potty today. My BIG boy!! He was very excited to get his M&Ms as a reward.
