3 weeks

I can't believe it has been 3 weeks already. Sawyer is more alert and stays awake for longer stretches. He is still having trouble at night but it will get better. Jackson is absolutely wonderful with him. I couldn't have asked for a better transition. Jackson hugs and kisses Sawyer everyday. He is always concerned about Sawyer's whereabouts and alerts me if he is crying. All my help has gone home but my mom & aunt will be back next Thursday. I can't wait. Jason leaves Monday for 10 days so I will greatly appreciate the help.

Sawyer Pics

Busy Weekend

Friday we all went to Jackson's favorite place - Blue Bird Gap Farm in Hampton. Not only was he sooo excited to go, but his lady friend Breanna was there. They ran all over like they owned the place. Saturday we went to the Zoo in Norfolk. It was HOT. Sawyer was a trooper and slept the whole time in the stroller. We rode a train around the park and Jackson fed some animals. Today Daddy played golf and the rest of us went to church and out to lunch. This evening Auntie babysat and Jason & I went out on a date. Jason goes back to work tomorrow and Sawyer has a check up at 10:45.

2 Weeks

Yesterday Sawyer was 2 weeks old. I took this picture of his favorite sleep position - left arm up, ready to ride. My aunt is here this week and she is a big help. Today we all went to the Coast Guard base to get Sawyer added to our insurance and eat lunch with daddy. Jason showed Sawyer and big brother Jackson off to the crew. Tomorrow we are going to Jackson's favorite place - Blue Bird Gap Farm.

Fealy Family Fun Weekend

Jason's family was here this weekend to visit and for Sawyer's baptism. Jason's Aunt Mary is Sawyer's God Mother. Jackson had a great time visiting with his cousins. Grandma Fealy & Aunt Mary got him a new "Big Brother" bike and he impressed them with his golf skills. He is in training for The Tour. Everyone, including my mom, went home today and it is TOO quite now. Thank you for all your help everyone! Jason goes back to work tomorrow and it will be my first day by myself with 2 - wish me luck.

PICS from Fishin with PAPA

One Week

Yesterday was Sawyer's one week birthday. All is going well so far. He is starting to understand that we sleep at night but he still eats about every 2 hours. Jackson is a great big brother. He calls Sawyer "his baby" and is a great helper. This morning he brought me my robe and glasses. Jason has been a huge help of course, especially at night. J & J have been getting in a lot of golf in the back yard with Jackson's new golf clubs. My mom is here and the Fealys will be coming tomorrow. Sawyer's baptism is on Saturday.

Hoppy Easter!!

Jackson & Grammz colored Easter eggs to get ready for the Easter bunny. Jackson opened his Easter basket in bed and got a new "Cars" hat, a mickey mouse puzzle and a new kite. There was also candy of course!

Coming Home

We came home on Friday afternoon. Grammz & Papa met us at the hospital. Auntie Punkey, Opah & GG came up from NC on Saturday and we are all having a relaxing weekend. We have been watching a lot of golf. Papa, Jackson & Jason went fishing on Saturday but did not catch anything. Sawyer is eating well - every hour and a half. Jason and I are not sleeping much but it is nice to have lots of helpers here. Jason & Jackson gave Sawyer his first bath at home.

EGG stravaganza and Date Night

This morning we all went to the EGGstravaganza at Bennett's Creek Park. Jackson rode a pony named Elmo and jumped in the bounce house. It was lots of fun. This evening the boys took mom out for a date at the hibachi restaurant. Jackson got a little scared when the chef set the table on fire but other than that he enjoyed it. He even used his chop stix successfully! Only 4 more days!

Thomas and Friends

Jackson & I went to see Thomas and Friends Live this morning in Norfolk. We had a great time. Jackson laughed, clapped and danced through the performance. J wore his Thomas shoes and took his Thomas sippy cup. He took a good nap this afternoon and asked to go back to see Thomas when he woke up. Tomorrow is my LAST OB appointment. I am very excited. Today I packed my bag for the hospital. We are getting very close and I am very happy.
