We made it back to NC - 9.5 hours this time. Much better than the 11 hours to get to WV. Traffic was crazy. It was a great visit. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Mary & John's house in the country. Holy skinny curvy roads! We saw deer & wild turkeys. Thank you Mary & Roseanne for all your hard work with the food! Jackson got to play and get spoiled by aunts, uncles, cousins, Grandma Fealy & Nanny. We are glad to be home but can't wait to get back.

Jackson sort of rolled over by himself yesterday. He had some help from Ellie the stuffed red elephant & gravity. He's up and...over. We are getting ready to leave from WV tomorrow. Going to visit the family and have a big Thanksgiving at Aunt Mary's. We are really looking forward to it.

What a busy week already. Jackson & I got back today from our trip to visit Frida & Anna in Atlanta. Jackson was a very good passenger on the plane. Several people commented on what a beautiful and good baby he is. Of course we already knew that. Anna and Jackson got along very well. She was happy to have a car seat neighbor in the backseat. We had a good visit but are glad to be home. Traveling is hard work & we missed Daddy.

We made it through the 2 month check up. I think the shots were more tramatic for me than Jackson. He weighs 13 lbs. 12 ozs. and is 24 inches long. The doctor said everything looks good and gave us some suggestions on how to get him to sleep longer at night. He is doing OK for his age (sleep-wise) but I am ready for a full night sleep. I went out to dinner with my girl friends for my birthday tonight. It was great. Thank you ladies. Jason & Jackson got me a diamond and sapphire ring to go with my wedding set. Sapphire is Jackson's birth stone. They also got me flowers and a card that said "Happy 21st birthday" love, Jackson. Ha, Ha......My family got me a new 19 inch widescreen monitor for the computer so I can spend more quality time doing stuff like blogging and checking out "the Myspace." Thank you family. Today Aunt Punk, Jackson & I went to lunch at Port City Chop House. It was very nice. It has been a wonderful birthday. I'm glad since it is my last.

We had a wonderful weekend. Jackson celebrated his 2 month birthday yesterday. Where has the time gone? Aunt Punk came over Sunday morning to let me sleep. Jackson definately does not have this sleeping thing mastered yet. We all ate dinner at my mom's yesterday - any early birthday celebration for me. This is my last one - 29. Jackson has his 2 month doctor's appointment on Tuesday. He will be getting his shots. I have a feeling he will not like it. I'll let you know how it goes.
