Big Steps!!

Saturday we all went to the Navy Exchange so Jackson and Sawyer could get haircuts from Jason's favorite lady barber. It was Sawyer's first. He was more concerned with the lollipop and didn't really notice the haircut. They all look great and Jackson is now all ready to start school next week. Jason also took the training wheels off of Jackson's bike and he rode it all by himself. If you can see his face, you will know he did NOT like it so Jason put them back on. Maybe we will try again in a few months. We are all getting ready for Jackson's pirate party on Saturday - just hoping all the hurricanes stay away.

Wild & Wonderful

We got home Sunday night from a busy week in West Virginia. 14 hours in the truck each way is a LONG ride. It took us a few days to recover but we did. We had a great time and did so much. We saw lots of family & friends, went to Middle Fork River, ate some indigenous food and saw cousin Taylor's soccer games. Jason went mountain biking with his brother in Snowshoe and we had a great cookout to wrap up Fealy Family Fun week!

So busy....

It seems like we pack so much into a week...the summer is almost over. Sawyer has started speech therapy and is doing well. Jackson goes in with him in the beginning to "help." We are all still trying to get over being sick from last week. Yesterday was Jackson & coach Jason's first soccer practice. It was great and everyone seemed to have a good time. Today we went to the pool with our neighbors and some friends. Jackson had a blast and Sawyer likes hanging out on the steps best. Tonight we are going to the shrimp boil on the Navy base. Tomorrow we have some errands to run and a picnic dinner with some friends on the beach. Friday Sawyer has an Audiology appoinment for his hearing test at the children's hospital. Saturday we leave for West Virginia. Mom & Dean are having a good time in Alaska. The are in an RV and seeing all the sites.

Happy Birthday Coast Guard

Tomorrow is the Coast Guard's birthday so Jackson & I baked a cake and took it to daddy and the crew. Jackson got a boat ride in return. Jason attended the first coach's meeting for soccer and got the uniforms. Jackson was so excited he wore it all day.

Grammz & Auntie!!

We had a great time with Grammz and Auntie during their visit. Each of the boys had a roommate- Grammz slept in Sawyer's room and Auntie slept in Jackson's room. We celebrated Auntie's birthday a few days early with Mexican food and cheesecake. Friday Jackson took them to his favorite place - Monkey Jungle - for some games and bowling with his friend Cailey. We miss them already but are glad they got home safe.
