Too Hot!!

This morning Jackson & I went to the park but we did not last long. It was way too HOT!! We will be hanging out inside the rest of the day. Jason left this morning and will be back on Thursday - short trip. It has been very nice to have him home this past week. The change of command went very well. Jason did a great job. Saturday we went to the beach for a while and got some sun.

Library Card

FYI - no cute photo ops at the dress up party - the boys were not very cooperative. Today Jackson & I went to the library for a puppet show and to get some books. Jackson had a great time watching the puppets and playing on the computer in the kids area. We checked out some new books and can't wait to show daddy.

Daddy is home!

Jason got home yesterday and we are happy to see him. Today we slept in, went to the pool and got ready for tomorrow. Jackson and I are going to a boys only dress-up party. I'll take some pictures tomorrow.

Hootie

Things are pretty much back to normal around here. We are very excited that daddy will be home in a week. Last night, Jackson & I went to a free concert with some friends. We saw Hootie and the Blowfish at the Naval base. Jackson had a great time dancing and running around. They sang a David Alan Coe song and that made my night. My Yankee friends had never heard it and were amazed that I knew every word.

New Addition

We are proud to announce a new addition to our family. Gramms got Jackson a fish and they named him Sushi. Jackson loves Sushi. He visits Sushi dozens of times a day. The funniest part is Jackson trying to say Sushi. We are recovering from all of our travels. Jackson seems glad to be home for a while and so am I. Less than 2 weeks till Daddy gets home!

Country Roads

We got home today from a very fun 5 days in WV. My mom, Jackson & I went up to Jason's mom's while Jason is in RI with his boat. We did lots of fun stuff including visiting Audra State Park, having a picnic, visiting with cousins, looking at cows, eating pepperoni rolls and I even got to play BINGO!! What more can you ask for? We made it home late after a long day of traveling. Jackson got sick in the car coming over the mountains and we cleaned it up as best we could but the odor lingered for the rest of the trip. Then we got stuck in BAD traffic near Williamsburg which made the trip even longer. We are very glad to be home.
