Halloween Party

Today was the Halloween Party at Jackson's school. I made spiderweb cupcakes and the kids ate pizza, carrots and fruit. Sawyer joined in and had a good time with the kids. They also played candy corn bingo and got their faces painted. Jackson and Sawyer both have spiderweb and spiders on their cheeks.

Spook-tacular

We all got dressed up and went to the zoo for the Spook-tacular with Jackson's BFFs, Cailey & Sydney. It was packed but tons of fun. Jason even made Jackson a lasso and then let him get some practice in.

New Tooth Brusher

Sawyer LOVES having his teeth brushed.

Soccer and more..

Saturday we got off the cruise ship and rushed home to see the kids and make it to Jackson's soccer game. There are no officials or goalies for his league - just lots of running around and fun. Mom took these pics - the boys making brownies while we where gone and Auntie all tuckered out.

Healthy Babies

Yesterday both boys had their well-checks. They are both healthy and happy-ish. They both had shots and Sawyer recovered immediately with a lollipop. Jackson was a DRAMA QUEEN and is still milking this "boo-boos." He told me he could not bend his legs and has needed help getting dressed and getting in and out of the car. Jackson is in the 90% for height and weight. Sawyer is in the 20%. Jackson told me yesterday "was the worst day ever" and that he did not want shots ever again. I promise he wouldn't have anymore. I can keep that promise for about 7 years.

The Captian

On the formal night, Jason was very chatty with the Captian of the ship and of course mentioned the Coast Guard. The Captain was very friendly and offered us a private tour of the bridge on the last sailing day. He was a small Italian man who spoke what he thought was perfect English. I only understood about half of what he said but since most of it was nautical terminology, I think Jason understood more. The bridge was huge, very different than an 87.

Nassau, The Bahamas

We walked around Nassau a little and them decided to get a cab ride tour. We saw all the sights and famous people's houses. We shopped and went to the beach. We ended up at Atlantis. The weather was not ideal but we still had a good time.

Key West

We walked ALL OVER Key West. It is such an awesome place. We shopped, ate lunch and key lime pie and of course, had a margarita at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.

Cruise!!!!

Jason and I left Monday on our cruise. It was so convenient to leave out of Jacksonville. The boys were happy to stay home with their "roommates," Grammz & Auntie. Jason got to see the Coast Guard Station from a whole new perspective as we left through the St. John's river. We met the captain and officers on the formal night.

Happy Fall

It is October and starting to get cool in the evenings but its still HOT during the day in Jacksonville, FL. Jason & I celebrated our 5th anniversary at our favorite Mexican resturant last Friday. The boys carved a pumpkin and I saved the seeds to roast. We are trying to get in the Fall mood even though its still 85 during the day.

The count down has begun! Jason & I leave Monday on our cruise. Grammz and Auntie are coming Saturday to take care of the boys. We are so excited. While Jackson was at school today, Sawyer enjoyed a little banana, juice and Sesame Street.

Made it back to FL safely after a few days in NC for Autumn & Brian's wedding. The wedding was lovely and Autumn was beautiful. Jackson and Sawyer enjoyed getting spoiled by all the family. Jackson was thrilled to go fishing with Papa even though they did not catch anything. Today Jackson wanted to wear his "cool" shoes to school and do "the robot" for the picture. He is quite a character. Ms. Janet, Sawyer's speech therapist said he did really well today and is making improvement. He says "Mama" and "hi" frequently. He shakes his head "yes" and "no" and he signs "more."
