Happy & Sad

We got up very early this morning to take Daddy to the airport. He is in CA for a 5 week Leadership School. We will miss him very much. Then Jackson & I went to our Play Group Halloween Party. Jackson had a great time dancing, playing & eating. This evening we went over to Jackson's best friend Sam's house to join them for some trick or treating. It took a few houses for him to get the hang of it, but he got it!

More Fall Fun

Friday the Fealys had the crew of CGC Seahorse over for a potluck. It was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Saturday J, J & I went to Driver Days and enjoyed some fall fun and another Hay Ride. We also did some lounging around the house. We got a load of firewood and have had the house nice and toasty. News Flash - Jackson pooped on the potty today. My BIG boy!! He was very excited to get his M&Ms as a reward.

Binky Wars

Today is day 5 with no binky. It has been a traumatic experience for all of us. The first 3 nights were hard - lots of crying & waking up. Jackson is down for a nap now and it seems to be going pretty well. Will keep you posted. Pray for the parents.......

Big Boy

My 'baby" is not so little any more. Today he and daddy packaged up his pacifiers and they mailed them to The Island of Sodor - where Thomas the Train and friends live. Jackson was very excited about the whole process until we got home from the grocery store and we checked the mail box and found that the package was gone. Nap time this afternoon was a struggle but he is sleeping now. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition. We are also starting to potty train thanks to a head start we got in WV. Jackson got VERY interested in the potty when he saw his cousins using it. Jackson goes on the potty everyday - just not every time. We bought him some special stcickers today that he gets when he pees and some M&Ms for when he poops. My BIG boy!!

Fall Fun

I had an OB appointment this morning - everything looks good. I have another ultrasound in 2 weeks. This morning Jackson & I went on a hayride and pumpkin picking with our meetup group. There were over 30 kids there! It was lots of fun. I dressed us too warm and we got pretty hot but we still had fun and Jackson picked out a perfect pumpkin.

traveling.....

We are home! We are very excited to be home. We have been traveling all over the last 10 days - 30 hours in the car! We went to WV, then Ohio for a wedding, then back to WV and then back home to VA. We are all pooped. Jackson had a blast with his cousins and Grandma Fealy. We went on an awesome train ride on Cass Rail Road in WV. Jason & I celebrated our 3rd anniversary in Buckhannon. We went out to dinner and to see a great band. The wedding in OH was beautiful and we got to see tons of cows, corn fields and some Amish people. It has been a VERY busy week and we are glad to be home for a while.
