Bowling!

Today Jackson & his friends tried bowling for the first time. It was fun but a lot of work for the mommies. There was a lot of "stay here, your turn, don't touch that" involved. We may wait till Jackson is a little older to try that again. Jackson also got a new pair of sneakers that he is VERY fond of. They have balls on them and they light up - very fancy.

Daddy left Saturday for a week in Boston. We miss him already. We had a really nice weekend. Friday we hung out with daddy all day. Jackson & daddy got in a little t-ball practice before Jason left. Saturday we went to Jackson's lady friend, Emily's birthday party. We had a nice time. Jackson is really talking up a storm. He has an opinion about everything and has started being a backseat driver. If I don't go the way he wants to go he says "that way, that way" and points. It's pretty funny...for now...

Choo Choo!! Train Party

Last night was Jackson & Sam's train party. It was lots of fun. We had a bounce house, food, cake, baseball, fun cuts outs & a pinata. Everyone had a blast and was very tired. Chef Jackson

This afternoon Jackson & I made the cakes for his joint train party on Saturday with his friend Sam. There will be train cookies on the tracks later and the cupcakes are suppose to be Rail Road crossing signs. We made a BIG mess but it was fun. Some how Jackson got a hold of the green food coloring and it was everywhere!!!!! P.S. Jackson has been running the house around saying "Happy Birthday Cake" all afternoon.

Back home

Everyone returned home safely yesterday. Jackson & I had a great time in NC. Jackson did not feel very well but is much better today. He was not very photogenic during the trip. We did get to celebrate Auntie & Autumn's birthdays - even though Auntie's party got cut short with a trip to the ER. Jackson had a temp of 105 and was diagnosed yesterday with Roseola - a viral rash with very high temp. Jason got home last night too and today Jackson got a haircut & we ate Mexican for lunch. The boys are both napping now on full bellies.

Train Ride

Today after church Jackson & I went to the mall for a little shopping and a train ride. I know it's hard to see but Jackson is in there. He LOVED it! We are going to NC on Tuesday and are very excited to see everyone. We will be there for Auntie's birthday on Friday and Autumn's birthday on Sunday.
