BUSY week

Jackson & I got back today from spending some time in NC. We were real tourists while we were there. We went to the aquarium, the train museum, the art museum, for a boat ride, to the beach and to Mule Days is Benson. It was tons if fun. I think the highlight for Jackson was riding in Papa's boat and the train museum. We are home now and so is Jason. It is good to all be back together.

It's a....peanut!!

In case you have not heard, I'm pregnant!! Today was my first OB appointment and everything went well. Jason was able to go with me and we got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. I am 10 weeks so my due date will be 4/15/2009.

2 year check-up

This morning was Jackson's 2 year well check and he is just that - very WELL. His body (36 in height, 31.5 lb weight) has finally caught up to his head circumference and he is now in the 75th percentile for all measurements. He is right on track for speech and development. The doctor was even impressed that Jackson pointed out and said "giraffe"when looking through a book.

Reunited

I got back today from a weekend with the girls at Virginia Beach. It was great. We ate, slept and went to the spa. I really enjoyed it but was glad to get back to my boys. They seemed to have a good "man weekend." The girls didn't take any pics at the beach but here are a few new ones from Jason's camera of last weekend with my family.

Happy Birthday!!

Jackson is officially 2!! We have been celebrating for a few days now. We had brownies in the park, then lunch with friends at Red Robin and finally Mexican dinner with daddy! What a big day. Now my family is here and we are still celebrating. Jackson is getting very good at singing the birthday song.
