My Jerseylicious 35th
Jason got me exactly what I wanted for my 35th birthday party - a keg of Miller Lite and all my friends over with no kids. The Jersey theme was just icing on the cake. It was a super fun night and just what I wanted - complete with red carpet, paparazzi and flip cup.

Rock the Vote
I applied and was appointed to the Cape May City Board of Education in September to fill a vacancy until the coming election. I am also running to fill the position. Here is a sample ballot. My name is on the same ballot as the presidential election!!
Jackson's Play
Jackson's class did a play after the Halloween Parade at his school. The play was The Woman who Wasn't Afraid of Anything and Jackson played a pair of pants. After the wonderful performance, we went back to the classroom for a celebration. I asked Jackson's teacher about the placement of his desk. She said he was located on "talkers row." He gets it honest.
Evacuation
The boys and I evacuated to Mount Laurel, NJ for hurricane Sandy - just outside of Philadelphia. Jason took his cutter up the Delaware River near the Phili airport and rode out the storm there. We are very fortunate not to have any damage from the storm. The boys enjoyed a little vacation at the hotel pool.
Garden
My garden is still producing. I have fall vegetables planted - cabbage, kale, swiss chard, collards and one rouge watermelon that came out of the compost.
