My baby started the 2nd grade on Monday. What?? yep. 2nd grade. He wanted to ride the bus so we are letting him. The stop is the next street over so Jason and I walk him to and from the bus. The school is brand new so everyone is a new student and I had a great first impression of his teacher. He has to wear a uniform this year which he is not thrilled about. He also does not like to be hot and the bus is not air conditioned. Sounds like someone else I know. Aside from that, he seems really happy at his new school.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL
We have 3 soccer players in the house. One looks like he is going to be a Super Star! Sawyer has been on the sidelines of soccer games since birth and finally gets to play this year. He is SOOO excited and is loving it. Jackson is doing very well this year too and his age group is getting more competitive. Jason continues to pretend he is 18 again.
All settled.
Jason got hard to work on the landscaping in the back yard and I was in charge of the inside of the house. I think we did a pretty good job of making this house a home...and very fast!
Visitors
Grammz and Papa came to visit and we were very excited to have visitors! Fishing and belly rubbing were on the agenda. We also got to visit Ms. Hannah the college girl in Pensacola.
Sweet Home Alabama
After 4 days of driving, 7 states and 1250 miles we made it to Alabama! It so nice to be back in the south. The first thing the boys did in their new, empty house was some WWE style wrestling. It was so good to be out of the car! Thanks for the shirts mom!
Along the way
We found a hidden gem in the hills of western Virginia, Hungry Mother State Park. We camped for 2 nights and took advantage of the lake, activities and the amazing resturant. Yeah!! No cooking. We even went to a drive in movie. Bosco fell in the lake and got stung by bees. I wasn't sure if she was going to make it.
Saying Goodbye
We said goodbye to great friends and our little house in Cape May and headed out for our next adventure.
Wrapping up
Jason's change of command and the packers/movers all came in the same week. It was very hectic but all went well. Jason's COC was a wonderful ceremony and his crew got him an awesome gift - a replica pirate gun! ALL the boys had a good time with that.
