Back from the beach
We made it back safely form the beach and we had a great time. Opah & GG's party was a blast and Jackson got spoiled rotten all week. Since there were so many photos, I loaded them onto www.winkflash.com for everyone to see. In the box under "View Public Shares" type my user ID - christinefealy (no spaces) Then click on Folder #1, Then click on a picture. You can use the scroll bar at the bottom to see all the pics. Jackson has been reviewing his vacation pictures online all day.

Botanical Gardens
Today we went to visit the Botanical Gardens in Norfolk with some friends. We didn't spend much time looking at flowers because they have a really cool children's area with a splash park. Jackson had a good time. Also, the gardens are located right next to the airport so we got to see some planes take off and land. Jackson is saying "airplane" now. We enjoyed the outing but as Jason says, it is outside of our "bubble." The traffic was horrible coming back. It took us 50 minutes to get home. I think we will stick on this side of the tunnels for a while. Daddy comes home Sunday!!

Summer Fun!
We have been spending lots of time in the sun with our friends this week. It has been HOT!! We are also enjoying some time with daddy before he leaves to take his boat to RI. He will be back on 6/15. Yesterday we went to the zoo with the mom's group. Daddy was able to come too and we all had fun. Last night we went to a cook out and the kids got sweaty, dirty & sticky. Then all the kids got a bath in Ms. Kathy's big tub!

Home again part deux
Today Jackson & I made it back to VA after a week in NC. We had a great time. The weather was beautiful and Jackson got spoiled by all the family. We miss everyone already. I played Bingo with my grandmother. We didn't win but we had fun. Jackson got his fill of the park & the beach. On the way home from the grocery store today I came across this awesome find - a new and improved kitchen. It was out for the trash but with a good scrub it is as good as new. I know - I have reached an all time low - taking other's trash. Or a new high of freeganizism, depends on how you look at it I guess.

Home again
We made it back yesterday afternoon from our trip to WV. We had a GREAT time. We were sad to leave but Jason had to set sail today for 2 weeks. Unfortunately we did not take a single photo during our stay except for on the way home. Anyone who has been around Jackson for 5 seconds knows he is very fond of cows. We stopped at this farm on the way home in rural VA. Jackson MOOOed at the cows and chit chatted with them. He pointed, waved and got very upset when we got back in the car. I think this may have been the highlight of the trip for him.

Happy Mother's Day!!
What a spectacular day! This morning I got to sleep in and then had a wonderful breakfast prepared by my Jackson & daddy. Then I did a little shopping and had a pedicure. The boys planted a hydrangea in the front yard for me and now they are cooking a great Mexican dinner. It is great to be a mom today!

SUMMER!!
It is absolutely beautiful here today. We went over to a friends house this morning to play and have lunch. The kids had a great time and Jackson is napping HARD now. Today is the final day and celebration dinner for Jason's CCTI thing he has been going through. I have to say I am glad it is almost over. It sounds like he is going through fraternity-like hazing all day today until the dinner tonight. He finished his hat box. I told him it looks more like a hat coffin and I am going to write a eulogy.

Busy Bees
Yesterday Jackson & I joined some of our friends for a beach party. The weather was perfect! The water was very cold but we were content to play in the sand. Today we went to an international festival in downtown Norfolk. My friend Jenny & I played Vikings but Jackson was tired and did not want to participate. Jason is home tonight but has to go back in for a while tomorrow. We are glad to have him home even if its only for a little while.

The Cheesiest
Brave Daddy took Jackson to Chuck E Cheese for the first time this past week. I was at my MNO (Mom's night out) with friends. They had a good time but Jackson was a little overwhelmed. Jackson has been quite the kisser lately. He gives all of us kisses on demand - including Marley. He is picking up new words everyday now. He loves to talk about the "boat" - where daddy works. He also likes to see the "duck" and quack at them.
