This is the I'm pitiful look. Jackson has his first official cold - fever, snot, cough - the works. Yesterday we had a good scare. Gramms took him to the doctor yesterday morning where they said to keep him on infant Tylenol & fluids. Then yesterday afternoon his temp spiked to 103.6. We called the doctor and they said to try Motrin and a cool bath. He did not enjoy the bath, but the Motrin started working pretty quickly. No fever today, but he is still not himself. Maybe tomorrow everyone will be happier.

Happy Birthday daddy! Jason & Jackson started the day by a enjoying bottle in bed while I was leaving for work this morning. They have a big day of "man time" planned and then will meet me for lunch. Jackson really enjoys his new teething biscuits. I think there will be a tooth here soon. (Besides the bubba teeth.) Tonight Jason & I are going out to dinner and "the holders" - Gramms & Aunt Punk are watching young Mr. Fealy.

Daddy got his new bike. He is actually riding it right now. He was like a little kid on Christmas morning when he got it home. He took it all apart and then put it back together. He took the reflectors off because they were "unnecessary weight." I think he likes it. Jackson had his 6 month appointment on Tuesday. He is in the 75th % for height and weight and the doctor said he looks great. We got some family photos taken yesterday. I will be distributing them shortly. FYI - Those are green beans on his face.

Daddy's Big Day!
Jason went up to Atlantic Beach for the first phase of the Officer in Charge Review Board. He smoked it. They said he was one of the top 5 they had interviewed. We are very proud of him. Now he has to do it again the first week of April in Portsmouth, VA. Then he will have the OINC qualification. Since we were in such a celebratory mood, and Jason wanted to have people over, I decided to go ahead and give him his birthday present. I had planned on giving it to him early anyway, but I just couldn't wait anymore. Jason got the 2007 team Discovery jersey and the money to buy a new bicycle. He has been asking for a new bike for 3 years. Since me picking out the bike would be like Jason picking out a new designer handbag for me, I just gave him a big check. Thank you CG reenlistment bonus, working part time at Castle Branch & birthday money contributors! Jason took the check to work with him today and said he is going to "stop by" the bike shop on the way home today. He is mildly excited.
