Friday night I went out with some friends for a Mon's Night Out / Baby Shower. We ate at a hibachi place and had a great time. We played games and enjoyed some great food. Only 10 more days till the newest Fealy arrives.

Today's Haul

Harris Teeter is having triple coupons this week up to 99c so Jackson & I went to take advantage this morning. He is such a great helper. He holds the coupons and puts the items in the basket. Total before discounts / coupons today was $46.12. I paid $9.65. That is a 79% savings. About half the stuff ended up being free and I am giving some of it to church - anything we will not use before we move. 

Also, I had an OB appointment today and everything looks very good. Only one more appointment before Sawyer comes!

3/27 Update: I went back today to another HT and got $21.00 of stuff for $3.47!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Jason's 33rd birthday and we celebrated in style. This morning I made Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast. Then daddy went on a 30 mile bike ride in the COLD. For lunch we had Mexican followed by a round of Putt Putt. We had steaks and brownies for dinner. Jason got his new electric guitar and he is quite a rocker!

Just an update for those of you who may have heard I was in the hospital over the weekend. I am fine now. I had a bug of some sort or maybe a little food poisoning. I had the puking-shits, as Jason calls it, and got very dehydrated. My midwife had me go in Saturday night for 2 bags of IV fluid and some anti-nausea meds. It was a little scary but all is well now. Jason & Jackson handled the situation like pros. Jackson was very concerned about me at the hospital and asked a million questions. Only 2 weeks untill the new Fealy arrives!

Air & Space

While Auntie was here visiting we went to the Air & Space Museum in Hampton. We saw a 3D IMAX movie called "Under the Sea." Everyone enjoyed it but Jackson jumped a few time when the sea creatures seemed to come into your lap. He sat with Daddy for most of it. We all had a great time except for all the RAIN! I am so over the rain but we had a great visit with Auntie.

Bass Pro Shop.....again

Auntie, Jackson & I went to Bass Pro shop today to see the fish and do some shopping. We were not able to go to Blue Bird Gap Farm because it was 40 degrees and raining. I had to convince Jackson the animals were too cold to come out and see him today. The pain was eased by the new Shrek fishing pole and tackle box that he got with the money GG sent. Daddy is home too and they are "fishing" in the living room while watching golf - heaven.

New obsession

So with the help of a few websites, the Sunday paper & a little planning I have become the Coupon Nazi. My new goal is not to pay full price for anything.  Here are a few of my hauls this week. 

Haul #1 - 12 pack coke (x 4), Huggies Jumbo pack (x 2), Scott Tissue 12 pack (which got opened before pic), Frozen pizza (x 2) - total price $64.52, I paid $25.81 - a 60% savings.

Haul #2 - Snickers & M&M Easter candy, Schick Xtreme razors 4 pack, Dawn dish soap - total price $17.36, I paid $5.27 - a 70% savings.

Somehow...they broke the coffee table together - but they fixed it together too!

Grammz & Papa!

Grammz & Papa are here for a visit and Jackson took them to his favorite place - Blue Bird Gap Farm to "see all the animals." Then Papa took us to his favorite place - Bass Pro shop. Today we went to the park and had a nice lunch at the Marina. The weather has been beautiful.
