Loaves and cookies...
We have been busy this week. Last Thursday we had Jason's CO and his wife & mother over for dinner. I cooked a full Thanksgiving feast since I didn't do it on Thanksgiving. The turkey came out well and Jackson helped in the kitchen. Friday night we went to a church in Ponte Vedra that reinacts the whole city of Bethlehem. It was awesome. My camera died after we got past the guards at the city gate but there were camels, merchants and of course baby Jesus. Jackson had a good time. Today I baked 5 dozen cookies and 4 loaves of banana bread for Jackson's teachers, my classmates, the coast guard guys and our neighbors. Wednesday is Jackson's last day of school and they are having a birthday party for Jesus. Jason & I are both going. Sawyer has a cold and is very snotty. Hopefully he will get over it before beach week.

Santa and a 5K
We went to see Santa today in our neighborhood. Jackson was SOOO excited. He asked for a Blue Angels Jet and a cannon gun that shoots balls. I told him Santa does not bring guns to 3 year olds but he would work on the jet. I also ran my first 5K tonight. It was fun and I am proud of myself for
doing it.

Griswald Christmas
We are getting ready for Christmas here in Florida. Today it was actually cool - high was only mid 70s. Jason Griswald Fealy bought 900 Christmas lights and was IN THE PALM TREES over the weekend hanging them. People go all out around here. You can see our neighbors house a mile away. We bought Jackson this penguin for the yard. We'll get one for Sawyer too when they go on sale for next year. The boys are doing well. Sawyer started clapping and it is very cute. Jackson has been playing with his neighbors every chance he gets. P.S. - That's not dirt on Jackson's face. Our neighbor Taylor drew a cat face on him in marker.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We went about an hour south yesterday to St. Augustine, FL for Thanksgiving lunch at the Columbia restaurant. The food was delicious and we had a great day taking advantage of all the tourist activities. Jackson was in full Pirate mode all day. We saw a "real" pirate ship and hope to go back over Christmas to ride on it. It was such a fun day and we have so much to be thankful for.

Party Time
We are quite the social family. Friday night Jason & I went to a Coast Guard function on the Navy base. It was the indoctrination for the new chiefs. Jason went through it 2 years ago. Saturday night my neighbor Rachael & I went to a women's party where we made Christmas wreaths and acted silly. Today we all went to Jackson's school friend Stephen's birthday party. We all had a great time but were glad to get home and nap. What a busy weekend!! Jackson got a little drum practice in this afternoon. I think we have a musician on our hands.

Custom Seats
It was beautiful out today so we all went to the park. Jason & Jackson played soccer while Sawyer & I walked 2 miles. I traded up and got a double jogging stroller to go along with all my running gear. It is awesome but I felt like it needed custom seat covers. Also, the sun was always in Sawyer's eyes so I made a custom sun shade too. Sawyer has been a little constipated today so I made him some prunes for breakfast. I had a great couponing haul today. This is $102.00 in groceries. I paid $37.00

Grammz & Auntie made it back to NC today after a big week. Jason & I had a nice overnight at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ponte Vedra for my birthday. We had a delicious dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House and then went out for a drink after where we met pro-golfer Jim Feryk. Today we went to the Air Show and saw the Blue Angels and then out for Mexican dinner. It was a great birthday weekend.

Treating and Shopping
Trick or Treating was a lot of fun last night. We went around with our neighbors and Rachel took more pics than I did so I'll try to get some of those. Jackson had a blast. He was Handy Manny and Sawyer made a last minute wardrobe change into a Tiger. Our neighborhood really goes all out. I haven't photographed a coupon haul in a while, even though they happen every week so I thought I would today. I normally DO NOT BUY JUNK CEREAL, but Jason insists on having it at work. I try to not even let Jackson see the boxes so he has no idea its around. This trip was $93.37 before discounts & coupons. I know that is crazy but there is $50.00 worth of formula there. I paid $36.90.
