In honor of the first day of the Tour de France:
Have you ever notice the amazing similarities between professional cycling and Nascar? The contestants travel a course of predetermined length, all members of a team, all trying desperately to achieve their own best time. They each have a "crew" who provides water, fuel and changes flats in record time. Commentators commentate with the same fury and vigor. Wrecks are the highlight of the day and are replayed in slow motion over & over. The fans are insane - both sports are reasons to invest in Tivo.
